Reasonably large room, very comfortable experience!

The air-conditioned rooms at Maison Vu Tri Vien were so comfortable and cozy, it felt like a home away from home. We loved the wardrobe, clothes rack, and flat-screen cable TV provided, perfect for unwinding at the end of the day. The attached bathroom had towels and a shower facility, making it convenient for us to freshen up after a long day of exploring Hue. The tiled flooring in the air-conditioned rooms gave a clean and modern feel to the space. We were delighted to find a kettle in our room, allowing us to enjoy a hot cup of tea or coffee whenever we wanted. The double room with a balcony was a great addition as it provided a relaxing spot to enjoy the view. Having a kitchen in the double room was a bonus, giving us the option to cook our own meals if we wanted to. Finding slippers and a hairdryer in the room was a thoughtful touch that made us feel cared for during our stay.

Personally, we didn't find much use for the electric kettle in the double room, as we preferred using the kettle provided in the kitchen.

We felt like we were at home at Maison Vu Tri Vien. The hosts treated us with incredible warmth and kindness, making us feel like part of their family. The location was perfect, just a short walk to the imperial citadel. The breakfast was delicious and the views of the lotus-covered lake were breathtaking. Our room was clean and comfortable, and the hosts even allowed us a late checkout without any extra charges. I highly recommend this homestay for an unforgettable stay in Hue.

The accommodation was lovely and comfortable near to the old citadel. The staff was affable and very very helpful. Location was magnificent, around 10-15 minutes walk from a historic royal palace. Also, it was based in quiet alleyway close to Bùi Vien.

We had a wonderful experience staying at this homestay with a lovely family. the host, Duc, was exceptional and made our stay memorable. the room was spacious and comfortable for our family of four, with two bedrooms and a private bathroom. the daily breakfast included a variety of delicious local dishes, allowing us to try authentic Vietnamese cuisine. the location was perfect, nestled in a quiet alleyway within close proximity to cafes, supermarkets, and restaurants. We were able to explore the citadel and other attractions easily with the help of Grab taxis. Thank you to Duc and his family for their warm hospitality. Cons: Nothing 😊.

The location of the hotel was great for visiting important tourist sites. The facilities were basic but included air conditioning and an electric kettle. The neighborhood was quiet, making for a peaceful stay.

The location of the hotel is perfect, as it is very close to the imperial citadel. the room was huge and comfortable, with a lovely view of the lake. the bathroom was clean and had hot water with good pressure. the service provided by the owner, Duc, was exceptional. He was a splendid host and made us feel like a part of his lovely family. Breakfast included delicious farm eggs and mango. Duc even invited us to a homemade dinner, which was excellent.

The wifi was inconsistent at times, and the chosen bus for a tour was in poor condition and made random stops.

This hotel is in a perfect location just next to the citadel and near the historic area. The beautiful villa is set in gardens around a lake, providing a tranquil atmosphere. The rooms are clean and spacious with beautiful wood finishes. The staff is extremely friendly and accommodating, allowing us to check in early and recommending great local restaurants. The breakfast provided is solid and European-style.
